Cypress Lakes is a well laid out par-72, 6556-yard golf course, fit seamlessly with its surroundings of 17 ponds and 20 year-old Cypress trees, in perfect harmony with nature. Generous Bermuda fairways surround Bermuda greens, with 40 strategically placed bunkers and several forced carries over wetlands and water creating both an exhilarating challenge and a splendid backdrop for golf. While challenging enough to test the mettle of scratch golfers, the multiple sets of tees on each hole help new and less experienced golfers enjoy the subtle nuances and design elements. The golf course is the cornerstone of the Ormond community, an upscale neighborhood of approximately 500 homes.
